Join Support Connection and New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital’s Senior Physical Therapist Jennifer Looby, PT, DPT, CLT, to learn how to manage and soothe symptoms of lymphedema and other inflammatory issues.

The program offering will include several delicious anti-inflammatory recipes prepared in The Chef Peter X. Kelly Teaching Kitchen at New York-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital. The Teaching Kitchen is an on-site, organic garden, and a farmer’s market named after the Iron Chef winner and owner of Xaviars Restaurant Group. A variety of innovative programs and cooking classes are offered to the community as part of the hospital’s Harvest for Health system. These unique programs offer information about managing health through diet and lifestyle changes, many of which can benefit cancer survivors.
